Construction of Winter Sports Palace Commences in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar, August 26, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The construction of a Winter Sports Palace begins in the 20th khoroo of Songinokhairkhan district in Ulaanbaatar, funded by the state budget.
The Palace will consist of three blocks and a two-story
basement, covering a total of 5,300 square meter area. "Total Ideal"
Construction is constructing the sports complex to complete it by 2025.
Once the Winter Sports Palace is operational, it will provide
opportunities not only for the residents of Songinokhairkhan district but also
for the citizens and youth of the capital to spend their leisure time
productively and engage in sports activities. Additionally, athletes preparing
for the Winter Olympics will be able to train in the complex that meets
international standards, according to the Media and Public Relations Department
of the Governor's Office of Ulaanbaatar City.
