General Election Commission of Mongolia: No Discrepancy between Result of Voting Machines and Manual Count

Ulaanbaatar, July 1, 2024 /MONTSAME/. A manual count of each ballot to verify the results of voting machines in the 2024 regular Election of the State Great Khural of Mongolia was conducted.


The General Election Commission of Mongolia informed that 29680 observers monitored the verification count at 2198 polling stations.


Public servants numbering 25700 manually counted every single vote sheet for 18-25 hours without interruption as stated in election laws and regulations, openly to media and voters.  


Verification counts were conducted under the supervision of observers from political parties, coalitions, nongovernmental organizations, and voters at 2198 polling stations.
