Political Consultative Meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Swiss Confederation Held

Ulaanbaatar, June 5, 2024 /MONTSAME/. A political consultative meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation was held on June 5, 2024, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
At the consultative meeting, the two sides highlighted the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation and exchanged views in detail on conducting high-level visits within the framework of the anniversary, elevating the level of relations, and enriching it with economic content. The two sides agreed to intensify talks on draft documents on expanding cooperation in certain sectors and strengthening the legal framework for bilateral relations.
At the consultative meeting, the Mongolian side was headed by the Director General of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battungalag Gankhuurai, while the Swiss side was headed by Head of the Asian and Pacific Division of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Heinrich Schellenberg.
