Mongolian Sumo Wrestlers Lead in Five Divisions at 2024 Natsu Basho

Ulaanbaatar, May 22, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The 2024 Natsu Basho is taking place at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan, on May 12–26, 2024.
Out of the 23 Mongolian wrestlers participating, four are taking a break, while 19 continue in the Natsu Basho. As of the end of the 10th day of the tournament, Mongolian athletes are leading in five divisions.
In the Makuuchi Division, Oshoma P. Delgerbayar has seven wins, and Hoshoryu S. Byambasuren has six wins. In the Juryo Division, Onokatsu B. Choijilsuren earned nine wins, and Chiyoshoma G. Munkhsaikhan has eight wins. In the Makushita Division, Kazenoumi Ts. Bilguun has five wins, while in the Sandanme Division, Sadanohikari D. Narantsogt and Kyokukayu Sh. Dalaibaatar each have five wins. In the Jonokuchi Division, Seihakubou O. Demidjamts has four wins.
