South Korean Ambassador to Mongolia Presents Copy of Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, April 9, 2024 /MONTSAME/.  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Choi Jin-won presented the copy of his Letter of Credence to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Amartuvshin Gombosuren on April 9, 2024. 


At the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Amartuvshin emphasized that the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea are developing in all areas under the Strategic Partnership. Mr. Amartuvshin expressed commitment to further expanding the trade and economic cooperation, fostering the exchange of citizens, and strengthening the bilateral relations on regional and multilateral fora and wished Ambassador Choi Jin-won success in his future endeavors. 


Newly appointed Ambassador Choi Jin-won expressed satisfaction at returning to Mongolia and assuming his role as the South Korean Ambassador to the country. Mr. Choi Jin-won stressed that he would pay particular attention to deepening the political, trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries, intensifying efforts to establish economic partnership agreements, strengthening people-to-people ties, and expanding cooperation in the tourism sector.
