Mongolia's Memory Masters: World Champion Retains Title, New Stars Emerge

Ulaanbaatar, November 29, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The IAM World Memory Championships were held in Mumbai, India, on November 24–26, 2023 with the participation of 780 memory athletes from 13 countries.


At the Championships, athletes in children's, juniors', and adults' categories competed in 10 disciplines of visual and auditory memory over three days, vying for the top spot.


Mongolian athletes dominated the Championships, winning first place in all three age categories. M. Gegeen-Oyun emerged victorious in the children's category, while International Master E. Uuriintsolmon triumphed in the juniors' category. International Grand Master and World Champion T. Tenuun retained her title, becoming a two-time World Memory Champion. Her impressive performance solidifies her status as a formidable athlete in the world of memory sports.
