State Decorations Awarded to Distinguished Vietnamese Personalities

Hanoi, November 6, 2023 /MONTSAME. During the State Visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from November 1 to 5, 2023, at the invitation of Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa bestowed state decorations of Mongolia upon several distinguished Vietnamese personalities.


On the eve of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the following citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam were awarded state decorations in recognition of their valuable contributions and efforts to develop relations, cooperation, and culture between the two countries.


Order of the Polar Star:

-Tran Nguyen Truc, former Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia

-Hoang Thuy Toan, translator and writer


The Friendship Medal:

+Nguyen Phuong Nga, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

-Nguyen Xuan Hanh, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Vietnam

-Le Mong Chien, a journalist
