Mongolian Premier Receives Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, October 12, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China Shen Minjuan on October 11, 2023. 


At the outset of the Meeting, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene congratulated Ambassador Shen Minjuan on officially assuming the office and wished her all the best in her new duties. 


Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene stressed that the relations and cooperation between Mongolia and China are intensively developing in all areas based on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. 


Mongolian Premier Oyun-Erdene expressed his confidence that newly appointed Ambassador Shen Minjuan would actively work to implement the agreements reached by the Heads of State of the two countries, including increasing trade turnover between Mongolia and China and accelerating construction of railroads connecting all border ports and the China–Mongolia–Russia economic corridor. He also highlighted the importance of developing cooperation in new areas, such as the e-economy, smart city, and green development. 


Ambassador Shen Minjuan pledged to exert her utmost efforts during her tenure to deepen relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the People's Republic of China and realize the agreements reached by the Heads of State of the two countries, with a focus on achieving results in a short period of time. She conveyed that she will work promptly, with heightened attention to major projects discussed in the past, such as the Erdeneburen hydropower plant loan agreement and border port connection issues.
