Chairman Zandanshatar Welcomes President of National Assembly of Laos

Ulaanbaatar, September 8, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Chairman of the State Great Khural Zandanshatar Gombojav welcomed today the President of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Xaysomphone Phomvihane, who is on an Official Visit to Mongolia at Sukhbaatar Square.
Following the Welcoming Ceremony at the Sukhbaatar Square, Chairman Zandanshatar and the President of the National Assembly Xaysomphone Phomvihane paid tribute to the Statue of the Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan. Then, Mr. Xaysomphone Phomvihane signed the Book of Honored Guests at the State Palace.
The Chairman of the State Great Khural Zandanshatar, and the President of the National Assembly Xaysomphone Phomvihane are now holding official talks. The two sides will discuss and exchange views on ways to expand friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the two countries, particularly inter-parliamentary cooperation, and issues of mutual interest in the international and regional arenas.
