Decisions Made at Non-Regular Meeting of the Cabinet

24, /MONTSAME/. On February 20, the non-regular meeting of the
Cabinet was held and the following decisions were made.
“Mongolia
Economic Forum 2023” to be held in July
In connection with the Government’s announcement of 2023-2025
as the “Years to Visit Mongolia” and tourism as the priority sector of
Mongolia, “Mongolia Economic Forum 2023” is going to be held from July 14th to
15th of 2023. Minister of Economy and Development Ch. Khurelbaatar will work as
a chair of the Working group on organizing the Mongolia Economic Forum, and
Minister of Culture Ch. Nomin as a vice-chairman.
Brief News
· The 23rd Asian Physics
Olympiad will be held in May in Ulaanbaatar. Minister of Education and Science
L. Enkh-Amgalan was tasked to ensure and control preparatory works for the
successful organization of the Olympiad.
· UN Biodiversity Conference (COP 17) will
be held in 2026 in Mongolia as a follow-up action of President of Mongolia
Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh’s attendance at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of
the Parties (COP26). The Cabinet made a decision to organize the conference in
Khushig Valley.
