Mongolia wins silver at ISSF World Championship Rifle/Pistol 2022

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian athletes Munkhzul Tsogbadrakh and Davaakhuu Enkhtaivan participated in the ISSF World Championship Rifle/Pistol 2022 and won the Silver medal in the 50m Pistol Mixed Team Final. The 2022 ISSF World Championships for Rifle and Pistol is taking place at the newly built Egypt International Olympic City complex in Cairo, Egypt from October 12 to 28.
Previously, Munkhzul Tsogbadrakh won a Gold medal in the women`s sport pistol at the 2007 ISSF World Cup series in Bangkok, Thailand, and represented Mongolia at the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics. As for the Davaakhuu Enkhtaivan, he won a Gold medal in individual men`s shooting 10 m air pistol and a bronze medal in team men`s 50m pistols at the 28th Summer Universiade in Gwangju, Korea in 2015. He also represented Mongolia at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Athletes from the
People's Republic of China won the Gold medal in the 50m Pistol Mixed Team
Final. And Chinese and Poland athletes received the Bronze medal.
