A multi-city judo competition taking place

/MONTSAME/. The multi-city competition for junior judoka named after Narmandakh
Dorjpalam, a bronze medalist of the ‘Atlanta-1996’ Olympic Games and the
champion of Asia, took place on September 24-26.
The Mongolian Judo
Association, the sports complex of ‘Erdenet Industry’ State Owned Company, and
the ‘Khangarid’ sports club jointly organized this 15th traditional competition. More than 1,300 judo wrestlers
from three age categories from 53 organizations participated in this
competition at the ‘Khangarid Palace’ sports complex in Erdenet.
D. Narmandah won the
only bronze medal of the Mongolian National team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic
Games.
