Ambassador U.Enkhtuvshin presents his credentials to Russian President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation U.Enkhtuvshin presented his Letter of Credence to the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin in the Alexander Hall of the Great Kremlin Palace.


During the ceremony, President Vladimir Putin said, "Recently, a traditional tripartite meeting of the Heads of State of Russia, Mongolia, and China was held in Samarkand within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit. This format is very important not only given the geographical location of our countries, but also the interest in implementing major joint projects, including in the transport and energy sectors. Traditional bilateral ties between Russia and Mongolia are also actively developing. It has been 101 years since diplomatic relations were officially established between the two countries. "As a result of talks with the Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene, who participated in the Eastern Economic Forum in early September, the two parties reached agreements on the expansion of the Russia-Mongolia economic cooperation in several areas," he emphasized.



On the same day, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of 24 countries, including the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Arab Republic of Egypt, Portuguese Republic, Republic of Korea as well as others presented their credentials to the President of the Russian Federation.
