‘Wind of Mongolia’ displays works of artists of seven countries

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The ‘Wind of Mongolia’ exhibition of international artists is
running at the exhibition hall of the Union of Mongolian Artists.
The exhibition was initiated by Mongolian artist
G.Lkhagvasuren with aims to promote Mongolia’s pristine nature, tradition and
customs, depict them in paintings drawn by foreign artists with their own color
tone, point of view and mindset, as well as to expand cooperation.
The exhibition has displayed more than 140 works created as
a result of the study tours in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 throughout
Bayankhongor aimag of Mongolia by 68 artists from seven countries including Mongolia,
Russia, China, S.Korea, Kazakhstan and Israel.
As part of the study tours, artists traveled a total of
4,211 kilometers through specially protected areas, historical and cultural
monuments, and places with unique natural formations in Bayankhongor aimag,
including Ikh Bogd, Bayanlig, Bichigt Khad, Tsagaan Agui (White Cave), Nogoon
Tsav, Ulaan Tsav, Bugiin Tsav, Bayan Gobi, Zulganai Oasis, Buun Tsagaan Lake,
Adgiin Tsagaan Nuur Lake, Khunug Valley, Tamchiin Gorge, Erkhetiin Gorge, Erdenetsogt
Monastery, Shatarchuluu, Uvgun Jargalant and Shargaljuut.
The exhibition is open until September 2.
