Meeting held with MAVA Foundation’s Director-General

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s Ambassador to the Swiss
Confederation D.Gerelmaa held a meeting with MAVA Foundation’s Director-General
Lynda Mansson on August 18 and presented her a letter of gratitude given by the
Office of President of Mongolia in recognition of her contribution to the nature
conservation.
Ambassador thanked MAVA Foundation for its valuable
contribution to the reintroduction of Mongolian takhi horses to their homeland,
and noted that 136 horses have been successfully reintroduced in Khomiin Tal
Steppe in Durvuljin soum of Zavkhan aimag as part of the project implemented by
the foundation.

Monkhbat was present in the meeting, providing the project information in
detail, and informed that the Khomiin Tal Steppe was taken under state special
protection in 2020.
