Yo.Baskhuu becomes Asian Champion

/MONTSAME/. Yo.Baskhuu won a gold medal in the 66 kg event at the Asian Senior Championships
2022, kicked off in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on
August 4.
Defeating his opponent from Japan, Yo.Baskhuu became a champion of his respective weight category on the first day of the championship. In addition to Yo. Baskhuu, G. Narantsetseg in women's 48 kg weight class and B. Horloodoi in 52 kg won bronze medals. On this day, both E.Ariunbold and E.Sumyabazar took fifth place in men’s 60 kg, while M.Ichinkhorloo took fifth place in 57 kg and L.Enkhriilen -- seventh place in men's 60 kg event, respectively.
As
of August 4, Japanese judokas were leading with 3 gold and 2 silver medals, followed
by the national teams of Uzbekistan and Mongolia with 1 gold and 2 bronze
medals.
