Mongolian team wins bronze medal from World Cheerleading Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 2022 ICU World Cheerleading Championships is being held in Orlando, USA between April 20 and 22. 

Teams that finished first place in the National Cheerleading Championship held on January 12, 2022 qualified for the world championship.

The teams, ‘NN Titans’, ‘Usukh Ireedui’, ‘NGL-1’, ‘Bolor Shigtgee’, and ‘Show Dance’ are competing in the event as representatives of Mongolia.

On the second day of the championship tournament, the team, ‘Usukh Ireedui’, won the bronze medal in the Youth Hip Hop category. The teams of the US and Scotland took the first and second places respectively.

As for the Junior Pom category, team 'NGL-1' finished 8th place. 

Over 10,000 athletes of 51 countries are competing in the 2022 ICU Junior World & World Cheerleading Championships.
