Mongolia-Italy Intergovernmental Program for cooperation in education, science, and sports signed

of Culture Ch.Nomin, who is on a working visit to the Italian Republic, held a
meeting with the country’s Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation Manlio Di Stefano on April 19.
At the meeting, the sides
discussed cooperation between Mongolia and Italy, particularly cultural and
arts cooperation, signed the ‘2022-2025 Intergovernmental Program for
cooperation in education, science, and sports’, and agreed to develop a plan to
ensure the implementation of the program.
The program opens up an
opportunity for the two countries to intensify their cooperation in the sectors
of culture, education, science and sports by promoting each other’s history and
culture, through exhibitions, performances, and film and cultural days, and the
exchange of classical artists, and implementing upskilling courses.
The sides also agreed to
cooperate in conducting training and research in the protection of cultural heritage,
archaeology, architecture, natural science, ethnography and anthropology and translating
and publishing classical and modern literature.
Minister Ch.Nomin gave information on the New Revival Policy being implemented by the government of Mongolia to mitigate the pandemic’s impact on the country’s economy, emphasizing that the government is offering investment opportunities worth USD 49 billion to local and foreign investors and there are projects that can be implemented through public and private partnerships.
