Ambassador Ts.Narantungalag presents credentials to IFAD President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Ts.Narantungalag presented credentials, accrediting her as Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the International Fund for Agricultural Development, to Mr. Gilbert Huongbo, President of IFAD on April 4 in Rome, Italy.
During the meeting with President G.Huongbo, Ambassador and Permanent Representative Ts.Narantungalag underscored that the Government of Mongolia attaches high importance to the cooperation with IFAD and highlighted that the collaboration should be effective and the benefits should reach the citizens. Moreover, Permanent Representative TsNarantungalag pointed out that the support provided by IFAD, has contributed to the development of agriculture in Mongolia and in particular, helped herder households to increase their income and market their products.
While expressing his satisfaction with the outcome of the projects and
programs implemented in Mongolia, President G.Huongbo informed that the IFAD
team is planning to visit Mongolia this month.
