Meeting held with Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg met Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud during the 58th Munich Security Conference.
Briefing on the Vision-2050, New Revival Policy, and the Government of Mongolia’s policies and activities to revive the post-pandemic economy, Minister B.Battsetseg expressed willingness to further intensify trade and economic cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
The two sides noted that the ‘One Billion Tree’ national movement spearheaded by the President of Mongolia is similar in content and purpose to the 10 billion tree planting initiative implemented by Saudi Arabia to support green growth, and agreed to exchange experiences and information in this area.
The Saudi side also expressed interest in investing and cooperating in the implementation of projects and programs set out in the ‘Vision-2050’ and ‘New Revival Policy’.
