Chief of Staff of the Office of the President holds telephone conversation with Aide to Russian President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On January 27, Chief of Staff of the Office of the President Ya.Sodbaatar held a telephone conversation with Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin.
Chief of Staff of the Office of the President Ya.Sodbaatar expressed his satisfaction about the Mongolian president’s successful official visit to the Russian Federation in December.
Mentioning that the State Great Khural and the Government of Mongolia are carrying out works in aims of realizing the agreements that were reached during the President’s visit, he noted that the development of a mid-term program for the development of strategic partnership relations between the two countries is being focused.
In connection with the finalization of the feasibility study for the construction project on the natural gas pipeline connecting Russia and China through the territory of Mongolia, he then highlighted that the President of Mongolia is giving special significance to the project.
The sides expressed readiness for close cooperation in the framework of the natural gas pipeline project as well as realizing the matters that were discussed during the visit of the President of Mongolia.
