Mongolia’s Ambassador meets Czech MP

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ambassador of Mongolia to the Czech
Republic H.E. Mr. Gansukh Damdin met with Mr. Stanislav Berkovec, member of
Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic on January 19, 2022 and congratulated
him on his re-election and exchanged views on Mongolia-Czech relations and
cooperation.
The Ambassador emphasized the importance of the ratification
of the Agreement on Social security between Mongolia and the Czech Republic by
the Chamber of Deputies and thanked him for his efforts on establishing a
Czech-Mongolian Parliamentary Caucus in the newly stablished Parliament. Mr.
S.Berkovec said that he has submitted the request to establish a
Czech-Mongolian Parliamentary caucus group and to chair it in accordance with
the relevant regulations, and that he would pay special attention to the
ratification of the Social security agreement. In the past parliament, he
served as a Chairman of the Standing Committee on Elections and a member of the
Czech-Mongolian Parliamentary caucus. The representative of European
telemedicine company attended the meeting and exchanged views on opportunities
for cooperation.
The two countries signed the Agreement on Social security
between Mongolia and the Czech Republic in Prague in 2019, and the State Great
Hural of Mongolia ratified this agreement on April 24, 2020. The agreement will
enter into force following the ratification by the Czech Chamber of Deputies
and signing by the President of the Czech Republic.
