Ambassador U.Batbayar meets leadership of US-Asia Institute

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador U.Batbayar met with Mr. Glenn Lau-Kee, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Mary S.Bissell, President and Mr. Matt Renninger, Congressional Circle Member of the US-Asia Institute on January 25, 2022.
During the meeting, Ambassador U.Batbayar emphasized the importance of long-standing cooperation between the Embassy of Mongolia and the US-Asia Institute, and proposed to further expand the collaboration in line with commemoration of the 35th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the USA, including the implementation of a joint program designed for Mongolian community in the U.S., specifically students.
Leadership of the US-Asia Institute briefed about various programs USAI run with the Embassies of Asian countries and accepted Ambassador’s proposal on realizing a short-term internship program for Mongolian students.
