Mongolians abroad to get public service online

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. As of the end of 2021, a total of 606 services of 59 government
agencies and 498 services of 8 aimags have been integrated into E-Mongolia
system.
Out of 606 services that were digitalized
in the system, 164 are references, and 436 are multi-level
services.
Through the introduction of the updated version ‘E- Mongolia 2.0’ on October 1, 2021, the citizen identity card and driver's licenses have been transferred to digital form.
Each citizen of Mongolia has an average of 10-12 documents. All these documents are planned to be digitalized in 2022. The legal environment for accepting electronic documents has been created. Regarding the matter, more regulation will be made by the Law on Public Information Transparency.
Moreover, in 2022, ‘e-Mongolia’ system will create possibility for the citizens of Mongolia living abroad and foreigners living in Mongolia to get public services online.
