Memorandum on cooperation for human development signed with Bayanzurkh district administration

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. World Vision Mongolia has signed a
four-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Governor of Bayanzurkh
District on human development. At the Bayanzurkh district level, projects and
programs to support human development, including child development, are planned
to be implemented, which is a highlight of this cooperation.
Within the framework of the MOU, two parties developed the
plan to work for livelihood improvement, and to protect the children with the
participation of community, children, families and volunteers, to empower
children through their participation, to develop them by the arts and sports,
and provide children with special needs by the equal inclusion through the
World Vision International’s approaches.
It is planned to work together to support and expand
household production, strengthen joint teams, reduce disaster risk, protect
children from human trafficking, and promote advocacy. In addition to the
long-term program, World Vision Mongolia will implement eight short-term and
grant projects in a total of 10 sub-districts in the Bayanzurkh District as
part of next year’s work operational plan. Four more children are benefiting
from one child who is directly benefiting from World Vision’s community-based
solutions.
