COVID-19: 125 new cases reported

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Health reported today, December 20
that 125 СOVID-19 infections
and two deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours. In detail, 85 cases were reported in
Ulaanbaatar city, with 37 cases
in 21 provinces and three
imported cases.
Today, the cumulative infection tally in Mongolia has
increased to 388,304, with the death toll to 1,972. Currently, 2,291 people are
receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 whilst 4,201 people with mild
symptoms are being treated at home.
The coverage of 1st dose has reached 69.6 percent (2,264,437),
2nd dose – 66.4 percent (2,160,217) and 3rd dose or a booster shot of COVID-19
vaccines – 26.1 percent (850,958) of the total population.
