Ambassador to Italy presents credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On December 13, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Italian Republic Ts.Narantungalag presented her Letter of Credence to President Sergio Mattarella.
In this regard, the President received the Ambassador and exchanged views
on the issues of bilateral relations and cooperation.
At the outset of the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh, emphasizing that expanding friendly relations and cooperation with Italy is one of the important goals of Mongolia’s foreign policy. Expressing satisfaction with the ever-deepening political mutual understanding and cooperation between the legislatures of the countries, the Ambassador voiced her desire to make full use of the potentials of the two countries in the spheres of trade, economy, investment, culture and education.
For his part, the President said that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and other relevant government agencies will support the implementation of the issues discussed at the regular meeting of the Mongolia-Italy Intergovernmental Commission held in June, noting that it is our common mission to expand Mongolian-Italian relations. Moreover, he stressed that the two countries have more opportunities for economic and cultural cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the President congratulated the Ambassador on
being appointed and wished success in her works.
