Foreign Minister receives EU Ambassador to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On December 13, Minister of Foreign
Affairs B.Battsetseg received Ambassador of the European Union Axelle Nicaise
and discussed matters of bilateral relations and cooperation.
Minister B.Battsetseg emphasized that Mongolia’s medium and
long-term development policy and action plans are in line with the goals of the
Global Gateway strategy, which recently introduced by the EU and stressed
the importance of their full implementation in a mutually beneficial manner.
Ambassador A.Nicaise welcomed Mongolia’s initiatives and
measures against global climate change and desertification, as well as its
efforts in ensuring democracy and human rights and reaffirmed her commitment to
intensify cooperation in the fields of digitalization, energy, renewable energy
and environmental protection.
Ambassador Axelle presented her Letter of Credence to H.E.
U.Khurelsukh, President of Mongolia on December 8, 2021.
