Cuban Ambassador presents credentials
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Ambassador of the
Republic of Cuba to Mongolia Jorge Alberto Ferrer Rodriguez today presented his
Letter of Credence to President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh.
During the meeting following the presentation,
President U.Khurelsukh expressed satisfaction with the successful development
of traditionally friendly relations between the two countries over the past
sixty years, and offered to cooperate with the Cuban side in introducing science,
health, and biotechnology technologies to Mongolia and training specialists.
Ambassador Jorge Alberto Ferrer Rodríguez expressed his commitment to expanding cooperation between the two countries and said that the Cuban government is working to continue providing scholarships to Mongolian students. Cuba has been providing scholarships since 1963, and more than 140 Mongolian students have completed higher education in the country to date.
