Deputy Speaker T.Ayursaikhan meets Deputy Marshal of Sejm

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 23, Deputy Speaker T.Ayursaikhan received Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Małgorzata Gosiewska, who is paying a visit to Mongolia.

 

 

Deputy Speaker T.Ayursaikhan welcomed the Polish delegation and noted the importance of the Deputy Marshal’s visit in developing friendly relations between the two countries, and especially in strengthening the cooperation between legislatures. He then expressed his confidence in the visit serving as a significant boost for the development of relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Poland in many sectors.

 

 

In turn, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Małgorzata Gosiewska thanked the Deputy Speaker for extending an invitation to visit Mongolia, and expressed her satisfaction in the active cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments. Noting that cooperation is expanding in terms of economy as well as other sectors, she informed that she participated in the opening ceremony for the Benedykt Polak exhibition taking place at the Kharakhorum Museum in Uvurkhangai aimag and held a meeting with the Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry in the framework of her visit so far. The Polish Deputy Marshal also noted that the decision to re-open the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Mongolia has also served as an important event to boost bilateral friendly relations. 


 

Expressing his agreement with the Deputy Marshal on the importance of interparliamentary cooperation in bilateral relations and cooperation, he then expressed his satisfaction with more opportunities being created for the development of bilateral cooperation in various sectors, particularly in the sector of geology and mining, and noted the efforts put in by Ambassador Krzysztof Bojko so far.



Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment of the Republic of Poland Piotr Dziadzio expressed interest in cooperating in the sector of environmental protection through ways such as introducing new technology.


The meeting was attended by Head of the Mongolia-Poland parliamentary group, MP B.Enkhbayar and Head of the Foreign Relations Department at the Parliament Office Ts.Jamdaldorj from the side of Mongolia, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia Krzysztof Bojko and other officials from the side of Poland.
