EU Ambassador presents Credentials to President of Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Mongolia Axelle Nicaise presented her Letter of Credence to President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh on November 8.

President U.Khurelsukh thanked the European Union for its continued support to Mongolia since its transition to democracy and market economy, and expressed a desire to expand bilateral relations and cooperation in the green development and environmental protection.

He also thanked the European Union and its member states for funding the COVAX Facility that significantly helps developing countries to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic with a minimum loss. 

Ambassador Axelle Nicaise expressed readiness to continue implementing the EU’s Multiannual Indicative Program for Mongolia successfully and to work closely on sustainable green development and economic development within this program.
