Prime Minister holds telephone conservation with heads of Russian Railways and Rosneft

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On October 21, Prime Minister
L.Oyun-Erdene had a telephone conversation with the President of Russian
Railways JSC O.V.Belozerov and Chief Executive Officer of 'Rosneft' I.I. Sechin.
Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene and Russian Railways’ President O.V. Belozerov discussed and reached an agreement on providing mutual support for the modernization of the Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC. It was also agreed to appoint the head of the Ulaanbaatar Railway in the near future as proposed by the Mongolian side.
The Prime Minister underscored that successful implementation of not only the Ulaanbaatar Railway’s modernization, but also railway projects will increase its competitiveness in the region. He also noted the possibility of Russia's participation in the implementation of the ‘Bogdkhan Railway Bypass Line’ project and invited the Russian side to take part in new railway projects to be constructed in Mongolia.
Rosneft CEO I.I. Sechin stated that the company would supply the petroleum to Mongolia fully in accordance with the agreement.
Mentioning that the Mongolia’s petroleum market and consumers right are in the center of the government’s attention, the PM expressed his gratitude for the positive solution of the issue within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
