Ulaanbaatar Mayor meets UK Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On October 14, Governor of the
capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city D. Sumiyabazar had a meeting with Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland Philip Malone to discuss the expansion of bilateral relations
and cooperation.
Mr. Sumiyabazar emphasized that the municipality would work with the UK’s relevant public and private organizations to intensify construction works in Ulaanbaatar and its socioeconomic development. In particular, he expressed willingness to expand relations and cooperation with the city of London for solving pressing issues of the capital city, such as financial management, urban regional planning, traffic control and smart regulatory solutions.
Ambassador Philip Malone said he would pay great attention to expanding relations between Ulaanbaatar and the British provinces and cities and expressed his readiness to support and study the cooperation issues raised during the meeting.
