Delegation of NEMA pays working visit to FranceSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Delegation led by Chief of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan paid a working visit to France between September 15 and 20.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation visited the French General Directorate for Civil Defense and Crisis Management and the Crisis Management Center, and became acquainted with their operations.
As part of the financial agreement established between the governments of Mongolia and France, an air operation unit is being created at NEMA and 12 helicopter pilots, 12 mechanics, and three emergency rescue doctors are undergoing training.
Moreover, two Airbus EC-145 T-1 helicopters fully equipped for air rescue and search missions and emergency health services, helicopter for flight training, and flight simulator were supplied from France and a helicopter hangar was built. Another Airbus EC-145 T-1 helicopter will be brought into the country in November.
