COVID-19: 2009 new cases, 15 deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Health reported
today, September 10 that 2009 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the
past 24 hours. More specifically, 651 new cases were detected in the capital
city, with 1,357 cases in rural regions.
As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia now stands at 249,408. In the past 24 hours 4,168 patients have made recoveries.
The Ministry also reported 15 new COVID-19 related deaths, which raises the country’s death toll to 1,007. Currently, 21,213 people are receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 whilst 39,162 people with mild symptoms of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.
