3,638 new cases of COVID-19 reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolia reported 3,638 new COVID-19 infections today, September 3, according to the Ministry of Health. In specific, 810 new cases were confirmed in Ulaanbaatar city and 2,828 cases were detected in rural regions.
As a result, the nationwide infection tally is now 224,989. In the last 24 hours, 2,554 coronavirus patients made recoveries. The Ministry also reported three new COVID-19 related deaths, raising the country's death toll to 951.
Currently, 16,226 people are receiving hospital treatment
for COVID-19 whilst 23,315 people with mild symptoms of COVID-19 are being
isolated at home.
