Education Minister meets South Korean Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Education and Science L.Enkh-Amgalan had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Lee Yeo Hong to discuss the need to upskill 12 thousand kindergarten teachers in Mongolia by providing short-term courses, improving the training of teachers, and offering them master's and doctoral programs.
They talked about upskilling young scholars and researchers at South Korean research institutes for a short time, implementing an exchange program, and receiving innovation consulting services and volunteer specialists from Korea International Cooperation Agency for the development of biotechnology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence.
The Education Minister also made a request to adopt South Korea’s strategy for digitizing education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
