'Understanding and Managing Internal Migration in Mongolia’ project to be implemented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On August 6, Deputy Governor of the capital city J.Sandagsuren, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection S.Zulpkhar and representatives of the International Organization for Migration led by IOM Program Manager Victor Lutenco had a meeting to discuss their future cooperation on internal migration. 

 

Ulaanbaatar and two aimags, Darkhan-Uul and Bayan-Ulgii, have been chosen for the implementation of ‘Understanding and Managing Internal Migration in Mongolia’ project. The IOM Program Manager made a request to establish a long-term agreement to partner with the Municipality in developing a dynamic labor market model. 

 

Deputy Minister S.Zulpkhar said there are plans to launch the project in Ulaanbaatar in September if the Municipality agrees to implement it in the capital city.
