Wrestler B.Khongorzul finishes 5th at Tokyo Olympics

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the bronze medal match that took place for the women’s 57 kg weight class on August 5, B.Khongorzul was defeated by 2016 Olympic champion, U.S. wrestler Helen Maroulis. 

 

Unable to execute holds on her experienced opponent, the 20-year-old athlete was defeated by technical superiority. 

 

This evening, IMs M.Lkhagvagerel and B.Bolortuya will be stepping onto the mat for a chance at grabbing the bronze medal in the men’s 125 kg weight class and the women’s 53 kg weight class respectively.
