Director-General of TASS Agency extends greetings
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of MONTSAME News Agency, Director-General of TASS Russian News Agency Sergei Mikhailov extended greetings.
Dear Ms. Ganchimeg Badamdorj, dear colleagues,
On behalf of the entire staff of the Russian News
Agency TASS, I heartily congratulate you on the 100th anniversary of the
founding of MONTSAME!
The creative path that the agency has followed over
this century is inseparable from the independent Mongolia’s development history.
For many decades MONTSAME has been a source of accurate and timely information
about the events in the Republic.
Great Mongolian proverb says "The arba cart of truth outrace the hare of falsehood." That is why your agency always leads the media sphere of the country. The audience trusts you, and your news is in high demand not only in Mongolia, but far beyond its borders as well. Today MONTSAME successfully implements new media formats, and does not avoid sensitive topics.
For many years of cooperation, we have developed truly friendly relations. That includes information exchange within the framework established by the Agreement on Cooperation and also the annual exchange of delegations with a purpose to strengthen ties and share experience, which started in the 1980’s. Our relations are also developing successfully within the framework of The Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies.
Such coordination of our efforts is the key to success and ability of our agencies to efficiently respond to new technological and informational challenges. Our cooperation greatly contributes to strengthening of friendly relations between Russia and Mongolia, and the joint work of TASS and MONTSAME helps the peoples of Russia and Mongolia to better understand each other.
On behalf of all TASS colleagues, please accept our
sincere wishes for creative inspiration, success and new discoveries! I wish
the entire MONTSAME team health and well-being, energy and enthusiasm, and good
luck in all your endeavors!
