COVID-19: 2,400 new cases, 11 deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 2,400 new cases of COVID-19 were detected from 10,425 tests processed nationwide in the past 24 hours. 

 

1,557 of the new cases were recorded in Ulaanbaatar city and 843 in aimags. Specifically, 72 cases were confirmed in Arkhangai aimag, 12 in Bayan-Ulgii, 68 in Bayankhongor, 11 in Bulgan, 42 in Gobi-Altai, 14 in Gobisumber, 54 in Darkhan-Uul, 3 in Dornod, 17 in Dundgobi, 55 in Zavkhan, 53 in Orkhon, 36 in Uvurkhangai, 32 in Sukhbaatar, 41 in Selenge, 157 in Tuv, 53 in Uvs, 19 in Khovd, 68 in Khuvsgul, and 36 in Khentii. 

 

93,551 COVID-19 cases have so far been recorded in the country. In the past 24 hours, 641 people were recovered, which takes the total number of recoveries to 63,113. 11,668 people are currently receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 and 18,311 people with mild cases of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.

 

The Ministry of Health also reported that 11 people died from COVID-19, which brings the COVID-19 death toll to 436.
