COVID-19: 1,288 new cases reported, total reaches 65,255

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On June 6, the Ministry of Health reported that 1,288 new cases were detected in Mongolia after testing 7,500 people nationwide within the past 24 hours. More specifically, 1,027 new cases were detected in the capital city and 258 cases in rural regions, with 3 hospital-acquired cases.
As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 65,255. In the past 24 hours, 185 patients made recovery, bringing the total recoveries to 53,780.
Furthermore, four new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, raising the country's death toll to 311. Of the 5,802 patients currently undergoing treatment, there are 3,430 patients in mild, 1,765 in serious, 475 in critical, and 132 in very critical condition.
