634 new cases of COVID-19 reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It was reported during today's press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 634 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Mongolia after 8,016 tests performed in the past 24 hours.

 

589 of the newly confirmed cases were reported in Ulaanbaatar city while 45 were detected in rural areas.

 

As a result, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia have reached 53,734. In the past 24 hours, 608 people have been discharged from hospital, making the number of recoveries 47,356. 


It was also reported that two people died from COVID-19, raising the country’s death toll to 255.

 

As of today, 4,243 people are undergoing treatment of whom 120 are in very critical health condition.
