Some public workers to receive additional pay

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychotherapists who provide therapy for persons with disabilities will receive additional pay equal to 20 percent of their monthly wage every month.
At its meeting on May 12, the Cabinet also decided to give additional pay of the same amount to kindergarten and school teachers and assistant teachers and social workers who provide special education, as well as caregivers who work at disability and aged care centers.
Around 120 doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers, 30 teachers, and 28 caregivers will receive the additional pay. The Cabinet ordered Minister of Labor and Social Protection A. Ariunzaya and aimag governors to provide the additional pay with funds from the approved budget and earmark funds necessary for the additional pay provision in the budget every year.
