Mongolia reports 639 new cases of COVID-19

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 639 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded nationwide in the past 24 hours. 


630 of the new cases are community-acquired cases, of which 593 were detected in Ulaanbaatar city and 30 in rural areas. Nine hospital-acquired cases were also confirmed. 

 

In the country, 45,459 COVID-19 cases have so far been recorded. In the past 24 hours, 1,287 people were discharged from hospital, bringing the total number of recoveries to 32,660. 

 

The Ministry of Health also reported that eight patients aged between 49 and 89 died from COVID-19, taking the COVID-19 death toll to 170.

 

Of the 4,800 people who are currently receiving treatment for COVID-19, 110 are in very critical, 506 in critical, 1,542 in moderate and 2,642 in mild health condition.
