Mongolia-EU parliamentary relations discussed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the European Union O.Och had a meeting with Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for Central Asia and Mongolia Fulvio Martusciello on April 15.
The sides expressed pleasure with the expansion of cooperation between Mongolia and the European Union and had discussions about setting up European-Mongolia group in the European parliament. Ambassador O.Och presented the measures the government of Mongolia is taking as part of the national vaccination program and voiced gratitude for the EU’s assistance via COVAX Facility. The Ambassador also made a request to cooperate in vaccine supply.
Mr. Fulvio Martusciello undertook to address the matter relating to vaccine supply and stressed the importance of consultative meeting mechanism between the parliaments in the expansion of bilateral cooperation, expressing his willingness to organize the 14th consultative meeting between the State Great Hural of Mongolia and the European Parliament in Ulaanbaatar when the pandemic subsides.
