Ambassador discusses cooperation with Department Director of Belgian Foreign Ministry

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Belgium O.Och had a virtual
meeting with the Director of the Department of Asia and the Pacific of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Jean Cornet d'Elzius on April 19.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of
diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Kingdom of Belgium. The sides
agreed to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in healthcare
and agriculture.
During the meeting, Ambassador O.Och reaffirmed that Belgium
is a third neighbor of Mongolia and agreed to expand bilateral trade and
economic cooperation.
The Ambassador also thanked the Belgian side for assisting
the country’s COVID-19 response through the European Union and asked for
support in getting COVID-19 vaccines.
