983 new COVID-19 cases and four COVID-19-related deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 983 people were detected with coronavirus after tests were carried out at 23 laboratories nationwide in the last 24 hours.
Of the newly confirmed cases, 895 were registered in over 150 khoroos of Ulaanbaatar city and 85 were recorded in rural aimags. Three imported cases of COVID-19 were reported as well.
As of today, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia have reached 20,655. In the past 24 hours, 406 people have been discharged from hospital, bringing the number of recoveries to 11,450.
Furthermore,
four people have died from coronavirus. A total of 3,131 people are undergoing
treatment, of whom 57 are in very critical health condition. 10,946 people, who
are close contacts of the previously confirmed cases, are under home isolation.
