242 citizens brought home from Istanbul

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A charter plane from Istanbul to Ulaanbaatar landed at the Buyant-Ukhaa international airport on April 10 at 9:28 PM, bringing 242 citizens home. The citizens are now in quarantine at five hotels.

 

The State Emergency Commission is to organize 12 charter flights this month to bring 2,500 citizens home. Mongolia has so far evacuated around 32 thousand citizens from 93 countries. Specifically, 25 thousand citizens returned home on 141 charter flights and 6,720 citizens through border checkpoints.
