Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Munkhjin had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Mongolia Phengsavan Keopaserth. During the meeting, Ambassador Phengsavan Keopaserth presented a copy of his letter of credence to Deputy Minister B.Munkhjin, assuming his office as the Lao Ambassador to Mongolia.
Welcoming the Ambassador to Mongolia, Deputy Minister B.Munkhjin said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide full support to the Ambassador in his activities. The Deputy Minister also stressed the great significance Mongolia attaches to its relations with Laos, a long-standing partner in South East Asia, as well as the importance of strengthening cooperation at regional and international levels in addition to expanding bilateral cooperation.
